Keep moisture under control while extending the life of your practice chanter reed. This water trap is designed to fit all Dunbar long practice chanters, including the Millennium model. (Note: does not fit regular-length Dunbar chanters).
The trap is easy to empty after everyday use—simply reverse blow through the top section and moisture will exit through the mouthpiece. For deeper cleaning, the trap can be removed, washed, and reinstalled.

Care Instructions
For periodic cleaning, insert a narrow rod (such as a straightened coat hanger) through the mouthpiece to push the trap free. Clean with soap and water, then reinsert securely—ensuring it’s seated fully to avoid reed interference.
